Hugely successful operation with European HQ located centrally in Cork has a new vacancy open due to internal promotion for an experienced Sales Team Leader. This position will require high-energy, proven ability to motivate staff and get the best from a skilled multi-lingual sales force.
Job Description
This strategic sales management role will require candidates to maintain the sales momentum within the SME market across EMEA. You will be responsible for mentoring sales staff and ensuring key performance indicators and sales targets are met on a quarterly basis.
Roles/Responsibilities
- Support the growth and achievement of the SME team
- Training & Development of team members, succession planning, contingency plans.
- Conduct business planning meetings and staff appraisals.
- Analyse trends and competitor analysis, share commercial market activities.
- Ensure company procedures are upheld.
- Recruitment of new staff.
Skills/Experience
- 2 years experience as a Sales Team Leader, ideally working on outbound Business to Business campaigns.
- Previous experience within the IT, ICT, software, hardware industry is desirable.
- Fluency in English is required; a second European language is hugely desirable but not required.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proven ability to manage staff in a hands-on sales management role.
- Proven ability to meet team sales target.
- Successful Sales candidate in your own right.
- Resilience, determination, energy and enthusiasm.
- Strong listening, communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others and gain respect.
