Job Description
As a telemarketing agent, you will join a team of two and your main focus is to make outbound lead generation / profiling calls to find out if there is potential business there for the company. If they are a potential client and/or are working with a competitor you will then pass the lead over to the sales team to follow up.
Roles/Responsibilities
- Working off a strong database you will make outbound calls to potential clients
- You will aim to speak to 40 companies per day
- You will ask specific, targeted questions to uncover their needs and the potential for busiess
- Updating the database will all information gained from your call
- Liaising with the sales team to alert them to strong business potentials
- Follow up on mailshots to generate new business opportunities
Skills/Experience
- 2 years experience in a marketing/telemarketing environment
- Proven track record of managing high volume calls each day
Education / Professional Qualifications
- Degree qualified - Marketing Degree would be preferable but not essential
Personal Attributes
- Proven ability to work on your own initiative
- Clear understanding of direct marketing principles
- Ability to find innovative yet relevant direct marketing solutions
- Strong ‘follow through’ approach
- Excellent communication skills - written and spoken
Salary €22,000 - €24,000 DOE
Location: Dublin West
Please note this is a pure outbound focused role so you must be comfortable working in this type of role on a permanent basis.
