Job Description

As a telemarketing agent, you will join a team of two and your main focus is to make outbound lead generation / profiling calls to find out if there is potential business there for the company. If they are a potential client and/or are working with a competitor you will then pass the lead over to the sales team to follow up.

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Working off a strong database you will make outbound calls to potential clients
  • You will aim to speak to 40 companies per day
  • You will ask specific, targeted questions to uncover their needs and the potential for busiess
  • Updating the database will all information gained from your call
  • Liaising with the sales team to alert them to strong business potentials
  • Follow up on mailshots to generate new business opportunities

Skills/Experience

Education / Professional Qualifications

  • Degree qualified - Marketing Degree would be preferable but not essential

  • Proven ability to work on your own initiative
  • Clear understanding of direct marketing principles
  • Ability to find innovative yet relevant direct marketing solutions
  • Strong ‘follow through’ approach
  • Excellent communication skills - written and spoken

Salary €22,000 - €24,000 DOE
Location: Dublin West

Please note this is a pure outbound focused role so you must be comfortable working in this type of role on a permanent basis.
