Our client based in the South East requires a Technical Sales Manager who will be responsible for the growth and development of the UK, Irish and Scandinavian markets. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused and ambitious person and can be based in the UK or Ireland.

· Maintain and develop relationships with key local and global customers operating within these markets

· Develop new customers and permanently monitor the market environment

· Convincingly provide individual solutions which are being developed in close cooperation with R&D, quality and supply chain

· Work creatively with internal resources to ensure customers are delighted with our services

· Engage both commercially and on a consultative basis on multiple levels.

· Develop customer plans and budgets

· Continuously monitor progress of growth objectives and be measured on their achievement

· Participate at exhibitions and events

The Person :

· Minimum of bachelor’s degree in food science or related science discipline

· At least 5 years of commercial/sales experience in the Food Ingredients sector, preferably in Customised Solutions (micro nutrient premixes)

· Knowledge and understanding of food science/human nutrition

· Strong communication and relationship building skills

· Entrepreneurial, goal-oriented, winning sales personality with strong negotiation skills and closing capabilities

· A high degree of commitment in a service- and customer-oriented company

· Ambitious, committed, success-oriented, persuasive, loyal and resilient

· Outgoing, a strong communicator and able to respond flexibly to even conflicting requirements

· Good conceptual skills and self-organized and structured way of working

· Ability to build long lasting relationships with your customers and key accounts
