Leader of a team of five, the purpose of the telesales team leader position is to motivate and lead staff as well as sell advertising space to customers and in doing so achieve set targets while administering your work to a satisfactory level.

This is a part-time position and the hours are Wednesday to Friday 2pm to 8pm, and Saturday 10am to 3pm.  This is an 8 month contract role for maternity cover.

The basic salary for this part-time role has been pro-rata to EU16,000 for the hours outlined with a c. EU6,000 bonus upon successful achievement of set targets.

Roles / Responsibilities:

  • To coach the team both individually and as a group towards hitting their sales and service targets
  • To supervise and monitor the team so that efficiency and disciplinary standards are both implemented and maintained
  • To support the Telesales Manager in ensuring that each individual in the team is properly trained both before they commence the role of telesales canvasser and that ongoing training is provided
  • To keep the team informed on all operational changes or new policies/ procedures and ensure that there is sound communication between all parties involved in the workflow
  • To motivate and lead the team towards hitting targets, both sales and operational
  • To administer all personnel duties, files and paperwork in a tidy and efficient manner while constantly reviewing how things are done and provide recommendations where improvements can be made
