My client is a leading meat processors with clients within Ireland and across Europe.
They are currently hiring for an experienced commercial manager/sales account manager to join their busy team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining established Key Accounts with a focus on identifying further business opportunities with existing and new customers.
- Review market positioning of the company to determine opportunities currently not being explored. Category management proposals for development of key accounts will be an important element of this assessment.
- Innovate with new product proposals within our category, specifically targeted at gaps/opportunities in the market.
- Participate in production planning process; ensuring commercial plans are consistent with company objectives and budgets.
- Collaborate with marketing, R&D and senior management colleagues to stimulate continuing product development.
Experience Required
- 4 + years in a similar or related position.
- Proven experience in managing retail/food service accounts.
- Be conversant and technically familiar with food packaging technologies.
- Commercial focus & strong negotiator.
- Highly organised and disciplined.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Fluency in an additional language a decided advantage.
