My client, a leading company with a Global presence is currently seeking a Business Development Executive with experience selling Sea Freight products

Duties will involve:

  • Working towards sales targets, generating sales and developing new business
  • Promoting a range of services, mainly sea freight products
  • Maintaining records of sales achieving and preparing sales forecasts and reports
  • Communicating effectively with other business units to identify all sales opportunities
  • Developing and marinating a pipeline of target customers and providing up to date information on relevant trade information

Skills and Experience required:

  • Strong knowledge and experience of the Seafreight market
  • Proven track record in sales, strong commercial awareness
  • Ability to exploit sales opportunities
  • Highly motivated with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Results focused with strong problem solving skills
  • A full clean driving licence

This role is based in our client’s North Dublin office and the successful candidate will be responsible for covering a defined territory, travel will be required and they may be required to travel to other branches in Ireland to support sales campaigns
