Business Development Executive

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
Evaluation of existing and emerging technologies in the clinical diagnostics / point of care arena.
Manage partnerships and contracts that this Medical device Company has with multiple partners globally including all non-disclosure agreements
Assist the CEO with all aspects of patent portfolio management and development of Intellectual Property.
Manage any grant applications for R&D activities undertaken in Dublin.
Working closely with CEO and Head of Sales to identify new technologies and products for the company.
Conduct market research activities in the renal medicine space

PRINCIPAL QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:
Postgraduate degree in a Biological science and a minimum of 2 years relevant industry exposure.

WORK EXPERIENCE:
Some experience in management of intellectual property.

KEY SKILLS:
Experience in the diagnostics industry and evaluation of products
Detailed knowledge of diagnostics and vision on the future direction
Ability to negotiate contracts, liaise with external partners, and identify real opportunities for the business
